Meet Scott
Scott refers to himself as “Just a kid from the coal mines” because he grew up in a small coal mining town in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains in Southern Ohio. Shortly after graduating from high school in 1989, he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force. After serving as a bomb loader in the First Gulf War, he went on to earn his commission as a Logistics Officer in 2003 and served in numerous military operations until he retired from active duty in 2012.
In 2003, after reading the New York Times Best Seller, Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki, he knew that after he retired from the Air Force, he was going to pursue a career in the real estate industry. In 2009, the Air Force assigned Scott to teach Organizational Leadership for the Air Force ROTC program at The University of Texas at Austin. In August of 2012, he retired from active duty and decided to plant roots in his favorite city in the whole world - Georgetown, Texas (North Austin).
Today, Scott enjoys being an empty nester with his beautiful wife, Kim, and visiting with their four grown children, and four grandchildren, and playing with their two German Shepherds, Kaiser and Sascha. They also enjoy traveling. He also enjoys being a part of the “#1 Real Estate Brokerage in the United States - Keller Williams Realty” (National Association of Realtors®).
As of December 2024, Scott has closed over 250+ transactions with a total sales volume of over $100,000,000 in his first six years as a Real estate agent. In 2021 and 2022, Scott and his team were named in the Platinum Top 50 Agents in the greater Austin metro. He attributes a great majority of his success to a loving God, amazing support from his wife, and a few great mentors along the way.
Scott’s favorite quote is, “Real wealth is measured by how many people’s lives are better because you were part of it."
